Farmers, producers, hawkers, salespeople, townies and Members of Parliament all concentrated on the three day Canterbury A and P show this week. With weather that swung from hail showers to weak sunshine on the first couple of days sales were down for many of the stall holders, but the quality of stock being exhibited was high.

The wide range of equine events attracted record entries as that section took on the role of a Royal Event. The show has become a festival as organisers put on entertainment to attract the city folk who are able to enjoy free concerts and all the fun of the fair while the A and P matters swirl around them.

Plus there’s always the characters who make the pilgrimage from all parts of the Country adding that magic the show is known for. (Watch Full Show Here)
